The Waterloo & City line will re-open during the week commencing 11 September after being closed for five months for a major upgrade by Metronet.
Final testing and driver training is now underway and once successfully completed the upgraded and improved line will re-open to passengers.

It was nice of them to give us advance warning. If I had offered this level of information to the business when I ran ops I would have been sacked. They've had five months to let us know the date, and they tell us the day before!!
