I've rebooted phones, PDAs, laptops, desktops, routers, switches, servers, clusters, but sorry that doesn't compare with what I am witnessing right now.
They are rebooting the train. All 8 carriages. There are no lights, no aircon, and we've been advised to stay clear of the doors as we wait here. I have my power supply unplugged just in case of surges, probably overkill.
Interestingly the power doesn't come back on all at once, it's definitely a service at a time. Emergency lighting first (including the little personal reading lights), some aircon, nothing a few minutes, then main lights (and power), and finally main aircon.
Now we just have to make up the 8 minutes we are late by. Thanks Virgin.

18:01 - 1 Mile traveled, we must be doing all of 5 miles an hour. (Actually that's 1 mile in 5 minutes, erm, 12 mph).
